Traders Insurance is a privately owned, Midwest company providing insurance services since 1976. We are based out of Kansas City, Missouri and currently provide services in Arkansas, Indiana, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. Our Renters and Auto Insurance policies are designed to fit a cost sensitive budget. Our team consists of some of the best professionals in the industry and we empower our staff to be creative in providing solutions to our customers, our agency partners, and our interdepartmental activities.

Our mission extends beyond simply providing auto insurance and renters insurance for a low cost. For our policyholders, we strive to provide hard working men and women with quality, affordable, and easy to understand insurance. We work with some of the best independent agents we can find, serve a diverse client base, and we’re committed to protecting families who trust us with their insurance. History of Traders Insurance

In 1976, when the Concannon Family started what is now Traders Insurance, they were offering a new type of product for the independent agency described as a “Specialty” product. This provided a low cost insurance product that offered protection for a more price conscious customer. As it turns out, Traders Insurance was a pioneer in the Specialty Auto Insurance; a business that has become one of the most significant and competitive markets in today’s environment.

Over thirty years later, we are proud to still be the carrier that provides that Specialty Auto Insurance product to consumers who need affordable auto insurance. Just as we did in 1976, we pride ourselves delivering on our promise to our customers and we do that by hiring outstanding people. Our teams are comprised of diverse professionals who all participate in the effort to our common goal of properly serving our customers. We are comprised of people who recognize the dignity and value of one another. In this way, we bring that same attitude to our customers and agency partners.
